Kimi Antonelli celebrated his 18th birthday at Mugello Circuit with his family, friends, the traditional water battles and spray cream and friends. A day on the track waiting for the Monza announcement

The last weekend of his summer break Kimi Antonelli decided to spend it on the track at Mugello, to support his father Marco’s team, Antonelli Motorsport that was competing in the ACI Italian championship. The paddock welcomed him with a big party, with water balloons and the typical face cake prepared by the friends he grew up with; his friends from Bologna, the Prema Mechanics and also the family team.

Kimi is leaving a magic moment. On Friday he will test the Mercedes F1 of Lewis Hamilton in the FP1 at Monza. A new chapter of his professional career has just began.

The Birthday wishes arrived also from Zandvoort with Toto Wolf stating on the TV: “

“We are with him since he was 11. it would be amazing to see in the same garage Kimi and Lewis: the fastest driver on earth and a driver at the very start of his F1 career. I wish the grandstrands at Monza will cheer for him. He has a great family behind and I also feel part of it”.
