“Grazie. Grazie. Grazie e Forza Ferrari”. Charles Leclerc is the king of Italy. The Ferrari driver made a magic and won the Italian Grand Prix at Monza in front of a red wave. all the tifosi that packed the grandstands at Monza just to see the Ferrari winning.

With the latest upgrades arrived at Monza to make a results to make the fans happy, as team Principal Fred Vasseur anticipated on the eve of the race weekend, despite the odds that saw the two McLaren favourite, Leclerc won at Monza with a 1 pit stop strategy.

“It’s awesome, it’s an incredible feeling. I thought that winning here in 2015 for the first time was unique, instead in the last 5-6  laps I re-lived the same emotions. I was looking at the fans standing  on the grandstands. I good feel their support. Monaco and Monza are very special, I would love to win every year”.

With the track invasion after the checkered flag, all the tifosi call Charles name.

“I know that as a racer we should’t feel emotions, but we are not made of rocks. It was very emotional. pure magic.

“Monza is such a tiring but intense week that remains special. I want to thank the team and all the people that work in Maranello.  they brought the upgrades for this weekend and we had some engineers here that had never saw the paddock before.

“We made a good start, I saw that the two McLaren were fighting so I stayed calm. The 1 stop strategy was the winning one.

“I won’t celebrate tonight as I’m heading back home. We need to remain focused, do a re-set for Baku. we need to keep on working as McLaren remain the first force”.
